Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and responsible Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their time at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job. Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
- Assist with socialization activities and playtime to promote positive behavior
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and equipment regularly to maintain a hygienic environment
- Monitor dogs for signs of stress or illness and report any concerns to management
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger animals
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience working with animals or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed for supplies or equipment
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- A genuine love for animals and dedication to their care is essential
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
