Senior ServiceNow Developer - Contract - 19290
About the Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is seeking two Senior ServiceNow Developers to support the design, configuration, and implementation of a high-priority digital onboarding solution.
The successful candidates will provide senior-level, hands-on ServiceNow development expertise, with a focus on Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), App Engine, integrations, workflow automation, platform security, testing, deployment, and production support. Working closely with architects, business stakeholders, quality assurance teams, and operations, the developers will translate approved business and functional requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Configure the ServiceNow HRSD module to support onboarding processes using out-of-the-box capabilities and approved configurations
Develop and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items
Build and configure forms, tables, and service catalogue components
Implement integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other approved integration methods
Develop server-side and client-side scripts in accordance with ServiceNow development standards and coding best practices
Configure data security controls, including roles, access control lists, and data separation rules
Implement HRSD and/or App Engine solutions based on approved designs and business requirements
Support the appropriate separation of data, processes, and compliance requirements across shared ServiceNow environments
Participate in requirement clarification sessions to confirm the accurate interpretation and implementation of functional requirements
Perform unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and application issues
Support deployment activities, including update set management, version control practices, and promotion across environments
Monitor application performance, resolve bugs, and optimize configurations
Maintain technical documentation for configurations, scripts, integrations, and deployment procedures
Reuse established components, modules, and shared services where appropriate
Apply secure coding practices and ServiceNow development standards to minimize technical debt
Provide production support, incident resolution, and system enhancements
Collaborate with architects, QA teams, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support delivery and system stability
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Must hold all of the following active and valid ServiceNow certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources (CIS-HR)
ServiceNow HR Professional Suite Certification
A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience within the last ten (10) years designing, developing, and implementing bi-directional REST API integrations within the ServiceNow platform
A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience within the last ten (10) years implementing and configuring ServiceNow Integration Hub, including the development, configuration, or customization of Integration Hub Spokes
A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience within the last ten (10) years implementing ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) Lifecycle Events and Activity Sets
