Position Summary
We are currently hiring for a full-time Overnight Security Guard position at Canada Goose (45 Commander Blvd, Scarborough), with an immediate start.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for visitors during overnight operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, customer-service oriented, and capable of handling incidents calmly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong report writing abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Previous concierge, condominium, or hotel security experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to ensure safety and security
- Control access to the property and verify credentials
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, residents, and staff
- Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
- Maintain a professional and visible presence on-site
- Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
- Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures
- Coordinate with emergency services when necessary
- Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity promptly
