Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a passionate, dedicated and detail-orientated Marriott Breakfast Busperson to join our Marriott on the Falls team. The Marriott Breakfast Busperson will approach our guests in an attentive, friendly and service-oriented manner and provide each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after their stay.
What you’ll be doing:
- Warmly welcome our guests.
- Assists servers with guest orders and ensures delivery of high quality service.
- Clearing and cleaning tables to ensure they are presentable; carrying trays of dishes to stewarding area.
- Restock cutlery and supplies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of our food and beverage outlets.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service oriented manner by demonstrating appropriate Marriott service behaviours.
- Comply with Marriott policies, procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations etc.
- Participating in daily standup meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
- Well organized and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work evening and day shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers and employees.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional composure at all times, while performing multiple tasks among staff, multiple guests/multiple items/products.
- Smart Serve Certificate required.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e., lifting 20-lb. trays).
