Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times
- Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service
- Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work quickly while maintaining precision
- Experience in food industry roles such as catering or serving is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
