The Opportunity
Reporting directly to executive leadership, you'll lead the strategic and operational finance functions of the organization.
You'll help strengthen the systems, processes, reporting, and financial infrastructure that support a growing national organization while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
This isn't simply about maintaining Finance.
It's about helping shape what Finance becomes over the next several years.

What Success Looks Like
Over your first 12–24 months, you'll help us:
- Modernize our financial systems, reporting, and finance processes.
- Strengthen financial reporting, forecasting, analytics, and executive decision support.
- Improve working capital, accounts receivable, and financial discipline across the organization.
- Build scalable financial processes that support continued national growth.
- Develop and lead a high-performing Finance team.
- What You'll Lead
As Director of Finance, you'll lead the organization's finance function, partnering closely with executive leadership to strengthen financial performance and support continued growth.
Your leadership will span:
- Financial strategy and business partnership
- Financial reporting and performance management
- Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital
- Financial systems, technology, and process improvement
- Revenue cycle and accounts receivable performance
- Internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
- Finance team leadership and development
- Success in this role will come from combining strong financial leadership with a passion for continuous improvement, operational partnership, and building scalable processes that support a growing organization.
The Experience We're Looking For
We're looking for a finance leader who enjoys helping organizations grow and improve.
While exceptional candidates from other industries will absolutely be considered, preference will be given to candidates with experience in healthcare services or other labour-intensive service businesses, where success depends on operational execution, workforce management, and disciplined financial leadership.
Experience in any of the following will be highly valued:
- Healthcare staffing
- Home and community care
- Hospitals or healthcare service providers
- Professional services
- Recruitment or workforce solutions
- Multi-location service organizations
- Experience leading ERP implementations, improving financial processes, modernizing reporting, and helping scale finance functions within growing organizations will be viewed as a significant asset.
Qualifications
- CPA designation preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, and financial operations.
- Experience leading financial systems implementations or major process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative leadership style.
