Shingling & Metal Roofing Foreman
Reliable Roofing & Solar is looking to hire an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead residential roofing crews across Ottawa and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in both asphalt shingles and metal roofing who can confidently run projects, lead crews, maintain quality standards, and keep jobs moving efficiently.
This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, and can operate independently on-site.
We’re looking to fill this position immediately.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage residential roofing crews
- Oversee shingle and metal roofing installations from start to finish
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Coordinate workflow, materials, and on-site organization
- Communicate with management regarding project progress and job site needs
- Troubleshoot problems on-site and make sound decisions
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized job site
- Help train and develop crew members
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of roofing experience
- Strong experience with both shingle and metal roofing systems
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience
- Comfortable leading crews and working independently
- Strong understanding of residential roofing systems and flashing details
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Working at Heights Certification
- Comfortable working at heights and on pitched roofs
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
Nice to Have
- WHMIS or First Aid
- Experience operating dump trailers or equipment
- Solar experience is an asset
