Position Overview
Cabot Cape Breton—home to Canada’s #1 and #2 golf courses—is launching a new specialty coffee concept in Inverness, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a team of professional, driven, eager Baristas at all levels of experience to join our team and develop a valuable in-demand skill within the Hospitality industry, while supporting a fun, new offering within the community.

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, americanos) to company standards

Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems

Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service

Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers

Create a welcoming and positive environment for guests

Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally

Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business

Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely

Ensure proper food safety and hygiene standards are followed

Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas

Restock supplies such as cups, milk, syrups, and coffee beans

As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
