Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and resources effectively. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery within scope and safety regulations. The Project Manager will play a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Duties
- Develop and review project plans, and create schedules using projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, manufacturing shops, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize MS Office tracking progress, and managing change orders.
- Oversee daily operations in shop and on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Manage procurement processes with purchaser, and sub contractors.
- Monitor project progress through site visits and meetings; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders if required.
- create and submit complete turn over packages to clients.
- Track and invoice progress invoices, and final project invoices through accounting department.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or related field with a strong understanding of construction processes and industry standards.
- Proficiency in microsoft office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting processes.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles including scheduling, resource planning, and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
