We are seeking a versatile Data Scientist to join our team and bridge the gap between traditional data analysis and cutting-edge Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you will be responsible for building end-to-end solutions, fine-tuning models, and leveraging advanced AI tools like Gemini.
This position is ideal for a strong Python developer who is deeply passionate about the evolving landscape of AI and eager to build production-ready AI applications. This is a new position.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Implementation: Design and deploy machine learning models using Python, focusing on both predictive analytics and Generative AI applications.
- LLM Integration: Develop applications using LLMs (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4, etc...) through API integration, prompt engineering, and customize workflows.
- Data Pipeline Development: Write clean, maintainable Python code to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Experimentation & Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of model performance, ensuring AI outputs are accurate, grounded, and ethical.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product and analysts teams to integrate data insights and AI features into our core products.
Technical Qualifications
- Python: High proficiency in Python and its data ecosystem (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- LLM Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks
- API Proficiency: Familiarity with calling and managing APIs.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL
- Version Control: Comfortable using Git/GitHub for collaborative development.
Preferred Professional Background
- 1 to 3 years of experience with a strong portfolio of Python projects or a relevant degree.
- 1+ experience in deploying models into a production environment.
- A "hacker” mindset, the ability to keep up with the weekly changes in the AI space and self-teach new libraries.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
