Sun Transportation Systems is seeking Truck Technicians/ Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at the Maintenance Facility in Bolton, ON.
- Test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using re-analyzers, and other equipment as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy-duty trucks
- Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
- Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
- Perform all tasks according to STS safety procedures
- Perform all aspects of preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained
- Maintain work area appearance and safety
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Duties include: Services, repairs.
Must be available on weekends and nights.
The candidate must be able to meet the following minimum requirements;
- 310-T certified Preferred
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Must maintain a G Driver’s Licence
- Able to work independently, be reliable, and self-driven
- Must have steel toe boots
- All other Personal Protective Equipment will be provided
