Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Front Shop Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while facilitating transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
- Management of inventory, including ordering receiving and merchandising product
- Utilize basic math skills to handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Stay informed about current promotions and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in technology sales or retail is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sales techniques.
