Position Overview:
We are currently hiring Railway Construction Labourers to join our field crews. This hands-on role involves supporting track maintenance, tie replacement, bridge work, and general rail construction tasks. You’ll work closely with experienced operators and supervisors on projects across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with rail tie replacement, bridge repairs, and track upgrades
- Use hand tools, hydraulic tools, and small equipment as directed
- Load and unload materials, clear debris, and maintain job site cleanliness
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
- Work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions
- Travel out of town for extended periods (accommodations provided)
Qualifications:
- Prior labour experience (railway, construction, or oilfield is an asset)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Willing to work in remote areas and stay on-site as required
