We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing kitchen cabinets and related fixtures, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our clients’ expectations. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise cabinet installation.
- Measure spaces accurately and plan layout configurations for optimal functionality and aesthetics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery to cut, assemble, and install kitchen cabinets efficiently.
- Secure cabinets firmly using appropriate fastening techniques while maintaining safety standards.
- Perform related tasks such as caulking, finishing, and touch-up work to achieve a polished appearance.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to address any installation challenges or adjustments needed.
- Maintain a clean workspace by organizing tools and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Journeyman carpenter with proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry roles within construction or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinetry projects.
- Familiarity with construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, masonry, rebar installation, and other building trades is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with construction estimating and project planning is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks.
- Prior handyman experience or electrical/plumbing knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
