We are currently seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to join our Ens Toyota Service Department. The ideal candidate will be a technician seeking consistent hours, bringing automotive experience, confidence, and pride to their work. This is a permanent FULL-TIME position from Monday to Friday.

- You will work in a state-of-the-art facility including an air-conditioned shop.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete training as mandated by Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) & Ens Toyota Management.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
- Complete wheel alignments accurately.
- Carry out used vehicle reconditioning to dealership standards.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
- Complete inspections and document findings clearly.
- Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures.
- Follow a checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined.
- Use power tools, machine tools and common hand tools.
- Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs
- Review work orders and discuss with supervisor.
- Inspect motor in operation, and road test vehicles.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components, including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of some post-secondary program and or training courses.
- Previous automotive technician experience required.
- Professional demeanour and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Efficient problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using to use power and hand-held equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
