MASSAGE WORKS RMT is a fast-growing Registered Massage Therapy clinic in Vancouver. Our mission is to help therapists build sustainable, lifelong practices by creating an organized, supportive, and professional clinic environment.
Our front desk team plays a key role in ensuring patients feel welcomed and clinic operations run smoothly every day.
We are currently hiring 1 reliable Front Desk Receptionists to join our team.
Expected start date: Sep 2026.
Schedule
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Front desk shifts:
Morning shift - 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM
Evening shift - 2:15 PM – 8:45 PM
Each shift includes a 30-minute unscheduled break.
Team members typically work:
3-5 shifts per week (~18-30 hours total), one of the shift has to be on Saturday or Sunday
1 on-call shift per week
Current hiring need: We are primarily looking for someone available to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shifts (2:15 PM – 8:45 PM). Additional shifts may become available over time.
Compensation
- $22 per hour
- Extended health benefits
We provide compensation in full compliance with BC Employment Standards, including vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, overtime pay where applicable, and paid sick leave in accordance with provincial requirements. Employees are paid on a semi-monthly schedule.
Responsibilities
- Patient Reception
Welcome and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
Answer phone calls and respond to booking inquiries
Assist patients with intake forms and clinic policies
Provide a smooth and organized patient experience
- Scheduling & Payments
Manage bookings using JaneApp
Process payments and close appointments correctly
Ensure appointments are properly checked out
Flag any unpaid or problematic appointments
Send appointment reminders and confirmations when needed
- Clinic Operations
Front desk staff also support daily clinic operations, including:
Opening or closing the clinic depending on shift
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked
Running laundry cycles and folding linens
Maintaining refreshment stations (water, coffee, etc.)
Restocking supplies in treatment rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms
Supporting the overall organization of the clinic
- Clinic Environment
Help maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming clinic space
Support light cleaning and organization of common areas
Ensure treatment rooms and reception areas are ready for patients
Requirements
Reception experience required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional communication and customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable multitasking in a busy clinic environment
Comfortable performing laundry and clinic upkeep tasks
Assets
Experience using JaneApp
Familiarity with extended health insurance billing
Experience working in a healthcare or wellness clinic
MOA (Medical Office Assistant) diploma
