Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Installer to join our landscape irrigation installers team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation field, with practical experience using various tools and machinery. Duties
- Install new irrigation systems according to design specifications and client requirements
- Repair and maintain existing irrigation systems to ensure proper operation
- Operate heavy machinery such as trencher for trenching and installation purposes
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, connect, and test irrigation components
- Conduct site inspections to assess landscape needs and plan system layouts
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within irrigation systems and perform necessary repairs
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale landscape irrigation projects and construction tasks
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local regulations
Requirements
- Prior experience with irrigation installation or landscape maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of gardening, and landscape
- Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation components, valves, and controllers
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and landscaping
- Background in construction or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites
