Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients through personalized support and caregiving. Experience in senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, or dementia care is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns or changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety during movement
- Support clients in engaging in recreational activities and social interactions
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited Ontario Program
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Valid CPR and First Aid Training
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks with patience and empathy
- Capable of light cleaning, meal preparation, and other household duties as part of comprehensive support services
- Must possess a valid G or G2 driver’s licence, have access to a reliable vehicle for travel between client visits, and maintain valid automobile insurance.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any necessary health screenings
- Flexibility to work various shifts depending on client needs; some roles may require availability during evenings or weekends

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
