Overview
Applicants must reside in the Nanaimo area and have a valid drivers license, clean criminal record and a reliable vehicle. Compensation includes hourly wage and mileage. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The right candidate will have professional cleaning experience and a professional attitude.
We require three previous long-term job references and a current clean drivers abstract, and criminal record. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong organizational and customer service skills while contributing to a positive client experience.
This is a part-time position that could grow to full-time and supervisory for the right candidate. The current hours for this position are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8 and 4 PM. All applicants must be available during that time.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by cleaning appliances, countertops, and sinks; assist with basic cooking tasks if required. Laundry and bed making.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled periods
- Organize cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper storage
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements or preferences
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with experience in residential cleaning preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

- Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills to ensure client satisfaction
