At Enwave, we’re helping cities transition to more sustainable energy through innovative district energy and decarbonization solutions. As part of our operations team, this role contributes directly to ensuring our systems run efficiently, reliably, and with impact.
As an Operational Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting operational performance by analyzing system data, monitoring key metrics, and helping teams make informed decisions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
What you’ll do
You will provide analytical support across heating, cooling, and power generation systems by monitoring plant performance, evaluating efficiencies, and identifying optimization opportunities using digital tools and data platforms. Working closely with Plant Chiefs, General Managers, and Operations teams, you will troubleshoot plant issues using both traditional and advanced analytics approaches, develop and refine production and forecasting models, and support peak demand and energy performance management. You will be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing operational and customer consumption data to support billing accuracy, metering resolution, and strategic decision-making.
In addition, you will play a key role in advancing digital transformation by supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of dashboards, data pipelines, and automated workflows. This includes developing and enhancing KPI reporting through advanced Excel (including VBA and Power Query), Power BI, and SQL tools, while ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across systems. You will help transition manual processes into scalable digital solutions and promote data literacy across Operations and Operational Excellence teams.
You will contribute to budget planning and validation activities by analyzing steam and chilled water production models, supporting operating and capital budget reviews, and performing benchmarking and payback analysis. Finally, you will generate and maintain KPI reports and interactive dashboards, monitor real-time data streams, resolve data quality issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including regional General Managers, Operations teams, Finance, and digital/technology partners to drive insights and improve operational performance.
