We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant (P/T) to join our dental practice. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment, supporting patient care and assisting the dental team. The ideal candidate will have experience with dental assisting procedures, familiarity with dental software and terminology, and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, restorations, and surgeries
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Support front desk activities as needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
- Assist with pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their comfort during visits
Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Assistant with BCCOHP
