Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to serve customers with professionalism and courtesy
