Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain a productive daily schedule
- Optimize schedule utilization and minimize gaps
- Manage patient recalls and re-care systems
- Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments
- Process referrals and patient correspondence
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Process patient payments and billing
- Submit and follow up on Ontario dental insurance claims and predeterminations
- Respond professionally to insurance and fee-related inquiries
- Help retain appointments by effectively managing cancellations
- Support the clinical team through efficient administrative coordination
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Dental Administration experience
- Experience using Dentrix
- Experience processing Ontario dental insurance claims and predeterminations
- Strong scheduling and patient service skills
- Availability to work Tuesday evenings until 7:30 PM
- Availability for some Saturdays
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
