We are looking for an experienced Assembler to join our growing team in and play a key, hands on, role in assembling our equipment. If you enjoy installing various hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, assembling various components and ensuring high quality outputs you’ll be a great fit.
Shift: 4x10s, Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm-1am*
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to understand assembly requirements.
- Assemble truck and trailer components, including frames, axles, suspension systems, walls, bulkheads, extensions, and flooring.
- Install electrical systems, lighting, and brake components according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fasten, weld, and secure trailer parts.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or issues in parts or assembled units.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize the assembly process and meet production targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Document completed work instructions and maintain accurate records of assemblies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assembling mechanical products or their equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Required to supply basic set of tools and rolling tool box within 30 days of employment.
- Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic components.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
