The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Performance, the Facilities Asset Management Coordinator provides foundational support to the management and stewardship of Winnipeg Airports Authority's facilities assets. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of asset information within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), supporting asset life cycle and performance tracking, and ensuring asset, work order, and preventive maintenance data is accurate, reliable, and readily available.
The Facilities Asset Management Coordinator works closely with Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Planning teams to support maintenance activities, capital planning, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operational decision-making through effective asset data management, documentation control, reporting, and administrative support.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain asset records, hierarchies, attributes, and related documentation within the CMMS and document management systems
- Support the ongoing accuracy, integrity, and organization of facilities asset data and records
- Provide asset information, documentation, and administrative support to Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Planning teams
- Assist with updating asset condition information, life-cycle data, and asset renewal tracking information
- Maintain asset-related documentation including drawings, manuals, warranties, product literature, and technical records
- Support CMMS administration through data entry, updates, and record maintenance activities
- Prepare standard reports and assist with data analysis to support maintenance and asset management activities
- Respond to routine requests for asset information and coordinate with internal stakeholders as required
- Support the implementation and maintenance of established asset management and CMMS processes
- Monitor data quality and assist in identifying discrepancies, documentation gaps, and record inconsistencies
- Provide guidance and support to users regarding asset information, documentation, and CMMS processes
- Ensure records are maintained in accordance with established procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to asset information management and reporting
Selection Criteria include:
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Asset Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in facilities support, asset administration, maintenance planning support, or a related field
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Understanding of basic asset management principles and maintenance practices
- Experience maintaining records, documentation, and data within business systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data and documentation
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies, analyze information, and support process improvement initiatives
- Experience with IBM Maximo is considered an asset

Pay: $73,958.00-$83,468.00 per year
