We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join an established and growing engineering firm in Calgary. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale industrial site development projects, with a strong focus on bulk earthworks, site grading, and integrated surface and subsurface servicing systems. Working within a smaller, experienced team, you will gain valuable exposure across all phases of project delivery while building your technical and practical expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of large-scale industrial site development projects, with a focus on bulk earthworks, site grading, and integrated surface and subsurface servicing systems
- Contribute to stormwater management design, including collection, conveyance, detention, and controlled discharge systems
- Coordinate sanitary, water, and utility infrastructure across complex, multi-use industrial sites
- Assist with project planning, detailed design development, and construction support activities
- Collaborate with structural, electrical, process, and environmental disciplines to deliver coordinated and constructible solutions
- Manage design interfaces and support overall project schedules
- Prepare and contribute to technical reports, calculations, and design documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation, or eligibility to obtain
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within industrial or site development projects
- Experience with bulk earthworks, site grading, and servicing design
- Working knowledge of stormwater management systems and infrastructure coordination
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Motivated to learn and grow within a smaller, experienced engineering team
