Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a passion for patient care and medication management. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety standards
- Provide comprehensive patient care by offering medication counseling and answering medication-related questions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication therapy
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns
- Maintain detailed and accurate pharmacy records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee medication inventory, including ordering, storage, and proper disposal of pharmaceuticals
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice
Experience
- Previous community pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams
- Certification as a licensed Pharmacist in the state of practice is required
- Korean language proficiency is an asset as main patient group is Korean
