Job description
We are looking to hire an apprentice Carpenter to join our team.
The projects we work on are very diverse and include:
- Residential renovations
- New home construction
- Structural upgrades
- Exterior renovations
- Interior renovations
Types of Carpentry work varies and can include but is not limited to:
- Landscape Carpentry
- Kitchen and Bathroom carpentry
- Drywall and ceiling repair and installation
- Flooring and baseboard installation
- Basic Finishing Carpentry
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
1. knowledge of construction and building techniques in B.C.
2. Be a hard-working, organized, team player
3. Be a proactive problem-solver that can manage difficult situations with positive reresults
4. Demonstrate competence in the areas of safety, and project execution
5. Is adaptable to change and variety of work
6. Have a reliable vehicle for transportation
7. Be willing and able to receive a government criminal record clearance
8. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20 to $32 an/hour
