SHIPPING SUPERVISOR
Krown Produce is a local and well-established company focusing on produce distribution throughout Western Canada.
We are seeking the right individual to fulfill a position,
in our Calgary warehouse, as a:
SHIPPING SUPERVISOR
Working with the Shipping & Receiving Team, the successful individual is energetic, focused & highly motivated.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the distribution process to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
· Working with an ERP inventory system
· Following HACCP food safe guidelines
· Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of product
· Supervise and lead teams within the Shipping Department
· Review and approve shipping documents including sales orders, purchase orders, load delivery documents etc.
· Implement shipping policies and procedures to improve efficiencies with reducing operational costs
· Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to the Shipping Department
· Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality control, etc. to ensure there are no shipping related issues to the customer
· Compliance of OHS polices in ensuring the safety of our team members and visitors
· Monitor and ensure inventory/product allocation is manage correctly
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years experience in a shipping or logistics supervisory role
· Forklift and pallet jack equipment experience
· Excellent organizational skills and planning
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping related issues
· Detail oriented, focusing on accuracy of shipments and following up with team members
· Ability to effectively manage a team to ensure operations are completed as efficiently as possible
· Must have strong leadership skills
· Ability to multi-task

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per hour
