About the Role
LIFTED is looking for an experienced Roll Off Driver to support waste bin services, equipment transport, and job site logistics across London and the surrounding area.
This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for operating company trucks safely and professionally while supporting a wide range of customer and operational needs. Work takes place at commercial properties, construction and landscaping job sites, condominium complexes, residential developments, and other client locations throughout the service area.
This is not an entry-level driving role. We are looking for someone who is already confident behind the wheel of commercial vehicles, comfortable towing trailers, and capable of handling the pace and demands of a busy operational environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Roll Off Driver, you will support daily operations by:
- Delivering and picking up roll off bins
- Servicing waste bins safely and efficiently
- Transporting equipment, materials, and cargo between sites
- Floating equipment and materials on flatbed and/or trailers
- Managing daily driving logistics
- Maneuvering safely in tight or restricted spaces
- Securing loads properly before transport
- Communicating with Operations about schedule changes, access issues, or site challenges
- Reporting problems early, including blocked bins, overfilled bins, tight access, or property concerns
- Completing daily vehicle and trailer inspections
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Keeping trucks, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for work
- Representing the company professionally with clients, property managers, and the public
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Valid DZ license or higher, active and not suspended
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience in Ontario with DZ license or higher
- School Bus driving does not apply for driving experience
- Ability to meet fleet insurance requirements
- Age 25+ for fleet insurability
- Prior experience operating trucks and towing trailers in real working conditions
- Experience transporting equipment, materials, or performing roll off bin services
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- Strong awareness of load securement, road safety, and site safety
- Clear communication and good judgment in the field
- Willingness to wear company uniform and maintain a professional appearance
Strong Assets
- Experience with roll off truck operations
- Experience transporting skid steers or other small equipment
- Equipment operating experience
- Forklift certification
- Working at Heights
- Air Brake Z endorsement
- Roll off truck certification
- Waste truck operator certification
