Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our team providing expert care through TeleRehab services and home visits primarily located in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient-centered therapy for seniors population. This role offers an opportunity to deliver personalized rehabilitation services, improve patient outcomes, and work in a flexible environment that combines virtual and in-person care. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions via telehealth platforms and during home visits.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and education on injury prevention and management.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques, safety procedures, and activity modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, medical terminology, and telehealth technology.
Experience
- Prior home care or telerehab experience is highly desirable and an asset
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
- Proven track record in patient care within diverse clinical settings
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches for virtual delivery and home-based environments

This position is temporary/freelancer/independent contractors looking for flexible hours and comfortable working in the home care environment preferably with seniors population
- Criminal background check and screening are required upon hire (Preferred)
- Certified in Basic Life Support for Health-Care Professionals (Preferred)
- Mandatory Tuberculosis Screening (Recent Chest X Ray) and Immunization Records (Preferred)
- Access to a valid BC driver's license and auto insurance is required (Preferred)
Pay: From $47.15 per hour
