Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working in dealership environments preferred. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive and machinery issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to accurately identify problems
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or repairs
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and answering questions professionally
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and assembly tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration
- Certification or training in automotive repair is a plus but not mandatory
