Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in residential settings, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus. Experience in cleaning, laundry, and hospitality will be advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.
Must be available to work weekends. Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare and cook simple meals as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments
- Maintain organizational standards by keeping supplies stocked and equipment well-maintained
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their specific needs
- Ensure all cleaning procedures meet health and safety standards
- Assist with additional hospitality tasks to enhance the overall client experience
Requirements
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational skills and excellent time management abilities
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently and accurately
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Basic cooking skills for preparing simple meals when required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable transportation or access to transportation for timely arrival at client locations
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service
Pay: $19.00 per hour
