DTech Services and Solutions Inc. is a growing HVAC company serving Ottawa and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking a motivated HVAC Helper / Junior Gas Technician to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry while gaining hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians on residential and light commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment
- Support work on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, and pool heaters
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Assist with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles
- Complete job notes, photos, and documentation using company CRM software
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
Qualifications
- G3 Gas Technician License preferred
- HVAC schooling, apprenticeship, or related trades experience considered an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in residential and light commercial environments
- Comfortable lifting equipment and working in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation
- $22.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Subcontractor rates negotiable based on experience and scope of work
