Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards for quality and safety.
Duties
- Inspect vehicles for structural damage and assess repair needs
- Perform body repairs, including welding, sanding, and painting
- Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of work performed on each vehicle
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to auto body work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process
- Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively

Pay: $20.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 100 per week
