THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Licensed 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a well-established industrial operation in Arthur, Ontario, specializing in environmental and agricultural production services.
This is a hands-on maintenance role responsible for servicing and repairing heavy mobile equipment in a safety-focused and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, hydraulic work, troubleshooting, and major mechanical repairs on a variety of heavy equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment including screeners, grinders, bulldozers, and front-end loaders
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and operational issues
- Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools
- Weld, fabricate, and manufacture custom parts when required
- Complete preventative maintenance documentation and repair records
- Order parts and maintain repair documentation as needed
- Prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime
- Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures
- Work independently with minimal supervision in indoor and outdoor environments
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environment
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with clean abstract preferred
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and industrial conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures
