Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on schedule.
Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
- Greet customers warmly and assist with boarding, luggage handling, and seating arrangements as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including fare collection and providing change when necessary
- Use navigation tools or maps to determine the most efficient routes and avoid delays
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and attentive to passenger needs
- Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, demonstrating effective time management skills
Qualifications
- Need class 4 license ,driving abstract, Police Clearance Certificate
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
- Physical ability to assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs as necessary
