Merchandise & Concessions Sales Associates for
Cirque du Soleil. We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals with a passion for sales and guest service to help create a memorable experience for visitors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced live entertainment environment where you'll engage with guests, promote products, and contribute to the overall success of the event.

Location: Ottawa, ON

Shift: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last show. Hours will vary. Until the end of the show | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

Responsibilities:

Have up-sell and sales experience
-
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
-
Collect payments, whether in cash or credit
-
Redeem coupons
-
Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
-
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
-
Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area
-
Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
-
Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
-
Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
-
Assertive and competent selling of concession products around the front-of-site and inside the big top.
Qualifications and Skills:

Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information
-
Be comfortable working in a loud environment
-
Have a professional, clean appearance
-
Be physically able to stand up for long hours
-
Understand customer service and hospitality
-
Work well with others
-
Pay attention to the details
-
Working fast and efficiently under pressure
-
Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)
-
Know when to get the help of a supervisor

Availability for the whole city duration
-
Speak English - other languages are an asset.

Possession of ServeSafe and/or food safety certificates
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
