Detailed Overview:
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
The Client Partner, People Strategies (Strategic HR) is responsible for utilizing client data, statistics, and trending analysis to inform, deliver and educate leaders/directors in order to align with the strategic priorities and direction of the organization. The Client Partner partners with the Leader and Representative, People Strategies on a variety of issues such as; overtime, staffing, additional patient demand, workforce planning, as well as information required to support Collective Agreement implementation and provides recommendations to department leaders/directors on the information analyzed. Coordinates and recommends plans of action and strategies to optimize workforce planning as directed by the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and interprets HR data such as sick time, overtime, workforce planning and staffing, and compares against established averages; performs trend analysis on data. Compiles and analyzes HR data for use in generating HR statistics.
- Supports team leader in research and preparation for issues related to staffing and workforce planning, as well as planning the implementation of any collective agreement or organizational Human Resource changes as they relate to staffing and Employee Experience initiatives.
- Recommends a course of action on a variety of HR data analytics that supports the Leader and People Strategies team in workforce planning, optimization and establishing the strategic goals of the department and/or organization with a focus on quality initiatives.
- Provides informal and formal education/training sessions by developing/utilizing course content to clinical and non clinical managers and directors. Receives feedback and tailors further education sessions based on the People Strategies vision, manager and director feedback, and expected outcomes.
- Utilizing data and statistics, recommends to Clinical Operations, management methods, processes and initiatives which facilitate culture and operational change focused on improving group and departmental functioning/operations. In collaboration with the Leader and Representatives, recommends and develops strategies for making required changes or improvements.
- Provides follow up on action plans and reporting on initiatives to Leader and clinical managers/directors.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a Health Profession and/or field related to Human Resources Management, plus five (5) years' recent, related experience in Human Resources and/or research/analyst roles or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Professional/Technical Capabilities:
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Knowledge of human resource practices and relevant collective agreements.
- Knowledge of Meditech, Centralized staffing systems (ESP), eConnect and FAR.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Demonstrated group facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and to formulate recommendations.
