Maintenance Worker – Community
The Vermilion & District Housing Foundation have a position opening in the Maintenance Department, as a part time, 24 hours per week (.6 FTE) Maintenance Worker.
This is a part time, permanent position reporting to Facilities Manager.
· You must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and build good relations with co-workers and tenants
· You must be willing to work weekdays
· Mature, responsible individual with working experience as general handy man or handy person.
· Duties will include minor plumbing, drywall repair and painting
· Assist with maintaining grounds, landscaping and snow removal duties
· You must have a standard First Aid/CPR certificate or willing to get one within your 3 months probationary period
· You must have a class 5 licence, able to drive with an attached utility trailer
· You must have a clear criminal record check working with the vulnerable sector
Position open until suitable candidate is found.
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
