We are currently accepting applications for a front counter associate position in our Service and Repair location! Previous experience working in a service or repair center or customer focused order processing role is considered an asset for this position.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers receive outstanding customer service at every point of the repair process, including product drop off, estimation, and pick up and invoicing
- Collaborate with technicians to resolve client issues and provide excellent customer service
- Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
- Process transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Review warranty policy terms to determine whether a particular repair is covered by warranty.
- Respond to customer queries in person, on the phone, or via electronic communication
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of organization’s products or services and any service or warranty periods
- Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to provide notification of repair estimates.
Preferred Skills:
- Active Listening skills that promote collaboration and positive customer expereinces
- Service Orientation, actively looking for ways to help people.
- Ability to read technical product documents or manuals
- Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally in a support operations environment
- Solid problem-solving, multi-tasking, and decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency with computer applications and customer service software/tools
- Approachable demeanor with a knack for building rapport with customers
- Previous customer service, call center, or support experience preferred
