<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Press Brake Operator, where you will play a vital role in shaping high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise in operating press brake machines and understanding of fabrication processes will ensure precise bends and cuts, contributing to the production of top-tier products. <Responsibilities>
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication
- Program CNC press brakes using CAD/CAM software to achieve desired angles and dimensions
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including calibration and tooling adjustments, to maintain optimal performance
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols, including the operation of cranes and hand tools when necessary
<Skills>
- Proficiency in CNC programming for press brake machines, with experience in CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling, and CNC lathe operations preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal fabrication, tooling, welding, and machining processes
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and understand GD&T specifications for precise manufacturing
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus
- Knowledge of safety procedures involving forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment used in manufacturing environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during production processes
- Familiarity with stamping presses and assembly techniques related to sheet metal fabrication
