We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Administrator on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity leave coverage. There is possibility of extension.
Position Overview
As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding balances and accurate processing of payments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the full accounts receivable collection process, including proactively following up on past due accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances and prioritize collection based on aging and risk
- Issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Resolve customer billing inquiries and payment discrepancies as needed
- Deposit cheques and ensure incoming funds are recroded accurately
- Proecess payroll payments via ACH
- Apply customer payments and ensure proper allocation against outstanding invoices
- Manage purchase orders (PO’s), including creation, tracking, and follow-up
- Work alongside the Accounts Payable Administrator to support smooth day-to-day accounting operations
- Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoicing, payment processing, and account management
- Ability to work on-site four days per week for the duration of the contract
Compensation: $60,000 annual salary prorated
