Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Subcontractor to provide high-quality cleaning services for commercial facilities. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, ensuring a safe environment, and supporting the overall facilities maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and facilities upkeep, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients. As a subcontractor, you will operate independently while adhering to established standards and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as trash removal, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitization
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently and safely
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet client specifications and health standards
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and tools
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning times to minimize disruption to facility operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple job sites as needed
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety standards
