Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and preparing meals according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including plating dishes and preparing garnishes.
- Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and cleaning up after service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Training pay-$18(5 shifts)
Must be able to work between 3-10pm.
(Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Thursday.
