Job description
SUMMARY:
To assist with the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions, assist as appropriate in the delivery of pharmacy services and participate in the maintenance and operations of the Pharmacy as described by the Pharmacy Standards of Practice, and to provide superior, timely, and pleasant service to customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
-Assist with dispensing activities such as prescription counting and labeling.
-Assist with inventory management duties including receiving, sorting and updating medication orders
-Assist with collecting and updating patient information on the system.
-Fostering and maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with pharmacy clients.
-Generating necessary reports and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
-College diploma in Pharmacy Assistant program or related field or equivalent training and experience
-1+ years' experience in a similar role is an asset.
-Arabic language is an asset.
-Experience using Kroll in a pharmacy setting is an asset.
-Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
-High attention to detail and thorough within a fast paced environment.
-General computer proficiency and competence with Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Proficiency with numbers and calculations.
-Proven customer service skills.
-Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills.
-Ability to problem solves and thinks critically.
-Flexible and able to handle fluctuating workloads.
-Capable of lifting and organizing boxes and inventory.
-Avid learner.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
