Position Summary
Reporting to the owner, the Bookkeeper is responsible for processing billing, supporting financial reporting to funding bodies, and completing general office duties. This administrative role includes managing, organizing, evaluating, planning, and directing the financial services that support our programs and business. The Bookkeeper ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while acting in alignment with our Values, Vision, Mission, and all relevant policies and procedures.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records and accounts.
- Process accounts payable and prepare cheques.
- Record payments and prepare bank deposits.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
- Enter parent payments accurately into QuickBooks.
- Prepare WSIB and Employer Health Tax (EHT) remittances.
- Assist with financial and government reporting.
- Support preparation of the annual operating budget.
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
