We are an established Manitoba-based operation looking to add an experienced Journeyman Welder to our team. We value quality workmanship, safe practices, and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
Position Summary:The Welder will perform high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work on a variety of components and structures. The ideal candidate is confident, reliable, and comfortable working in all Manitoba climates, both indoors and outdoors.
Requirements:
Journeyman Welder Certification - Minimum 10 years welding experience
Strong knowledge of fabrication, blueprint reading, and welding procedures
Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW (adjust as needed)
Ability to work safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Willing and able to work in all Manitoba climates
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or adjust as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality welding and fabrication to specification
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair components as required
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate documentation and follow company safety standards
Support apprentices and promote a positive shop environment
