As an Event Operations Staff Member, you will help ensure events run smoothly from setup to completion. You will work closely with the event and hospitality teams to create a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable environment for guests.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including tables, chairs, linens, décor, staging, and banquet arrangements
- Prepare event spaces according to layouts and guest requirements
- Support banquet, food & beverage, and guest service teams during events
- Ensure venues remain clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout events
- Assist guests with directions, seating, and general event-related needs
- Move supplies, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently
- Respond quickly to operational needs and last-minute adjustments during events
- Follow resort safety, cleanliness, and hospitality standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with managers, banquet staff, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
- Previous experience in hospitality, banquet service, event operations, or customer service is an asset (but not required)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional under pressure
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
- Ability to lift and move equipment and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
