YourPlace Music School connects passionate music teachers with students of all ages and skill levels. We provide personalized, high-quality, in-home music lessons, supporting teachers with scheduling, marketing, and administration so they can focus on inspiring their students.
We are currently looking for teachers of Piano, Guitar, Voice and Ukulele to join us in September 2026. Preference is given to teachers with basic proficiency in multiple instruments.

Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, one-on-one lessons tailored to individual students’ needs
- Maintain accurate attendance records to be submitted bi-monthly
- Inspire students to create and achieve learning goals
- Maintain lesson plans that balance foundational music skills with personalized goals
- Communicate progress with parents and adapt lessons as needed
The Ideal Candidate has…
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license to travel to students’ homes
- Prior experience teaching music, especially with children
- Enthusiasm, patience, and adaptability with a genuine love for teaching music
- A solid understanding of music fundamentals, including but not limited to theory, rhythm, standard notation, and improvisation
- The ability to teach more than one instrument
